Description: This twelve Hour Class will cover Master Keying from Basic Progression to advanced concepts. Concepts and Practice of Rotating Constant Systems. Application of System to Business.

Rules & reasons for those rules by Manufacturer.
We will also cover SFIC Master Key Pinning Systems. (Best/Falcon/etc.)
It will cover the use of multiple key Sections to expand scope of keying in large or multiple facilities.
Record Keeping, Master Key Programs Pros & Cons. Liabilities of poor record Keeping and Storage.
The Class includes a Keying Manual.
The student will need to bring a Pad of ¼ “Quadrille Paper, Preferably Yellow or Green. (Easier on the Eyes)

About The Instructor: Teaching Locksmithing since 1975, In 1975 Received an Advanced Journeyman Certificate in Locksmithing from the State of California (Los Angeles Unified School District) 1 of 11 issued in total. Earned a Lifetime College Teaching Credential Locksmithing 1975. Has been teaching Master Keying & Cylinder Servicing Since 1973.

1961 to 1971 spent weekends & evenings working in his father’s lock shop, 1971 through 1973 worked full time for Magnolia Park Lock Shop in Burbank, Ca. 1973 & 1974 Falcon Lock Company in the Keying Department, Magnolia Park Lock from 1974 through 1984 and took over the shop, added The Parts House a part distributor for the lock industry. 1987 Sold the Lock Shop and worked as a factory Representative for 3 years, 1989 Through 2009 worked for LAUSD as a Locksmith, Hardware Specification Writer, Assistant Supervisor Lock Department & Hardware Inspector, Inspection Section. Retired in 2009 and in 2012 worked for Cal-Royal Products as a project manager.

In 2018 Started Deahl Designs & Manufacturing a Locksmith Distributor and Hardware Design Company.
