Class Objective – The student will learn to:

- Learn how to adjust door closers for proper opening, closing, latching, and backcheck operation.
- Recognize common installation and adjustment issues and how to correct them.

Course Description
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the uses, installation, and applications of commercial door closers. Students will learn the differences between overhead glass door closers, standard arm closers, parallel arm closers, and top jamb mounted closers while gaining an understanding of where each style is best suited.
